LAKE NAIVASHA - LAKE NAKURU & MASAI MARA 

This safari combines the best of Kenya’s wildlife hotspots to ensure you get the best from the safari, 5 days four destination, aiming to capture Big Cats, Rhinos and African Elephant what they famously call the big five. Landscape photography aspect and Rift Valley lakes also comes in the most amazing style. The journey will start in the famous Great Rift Valley down to the great lakes and to the world-famous rolling grasslands savannah of the Masai Mara.

DAY 1: SAFARI: NAIROBI - LAKE NAIVASHA

We’ll pick you from your hotel in the city depart for a drive into the Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha being our first destination. Being a jewel of the rift, the lake stands at 1800m above sea level making it the highest of the rift lakes. The fresh water lake has attracted great deal of biodiversity around it and thus a walk and horseback ride will be inevitable while staying by the lake Naivasha, you get to walk and horseback in the island literally with wildlife animals such as Giraffe, zebra and antelopes in a close range as their no predators around the lake you will notice how calm the animals are. Naivasha is also known for the many birds that can be sighted within the lake.

DAY 2: LAKE NAIVASHA - LAKE NAKURU

Early morning takes us to Hells Gate National Park, one of the few parks allowed to offer cycling and walking down on a beautiful olnjorowa canyon. With red cliffs hanging and plains of game around Hells gate offers a tranquility to a different perspective of safari. We will then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for a late lunch.

The park is truly remarkable as it has achieved international fame as an animal sanctuary for both black and white Rhinos and the Rothschild Giraffe being given a new lease of life in this park. Lake Nakuru will give you a different perspective of the rift lakes again as it’s an alkaline lake meaning with high PH levels attracting the great and the lesser flamingos as its main attraction.

We’ll then have a game drive in the evening which will include a walk by the shores of the lake to get up-close with the many birds found here including the famous flocks of the pink flamingos. The park hosts other wildlife including the tree climbing lion’s buffalo gazelle leopard and so much more.

DAY 3: LAKE NAKURU - MASAI MARA

Have breakfast at the lodge enjoying the sights and sounds of the park. Proceed for a further drive in the early morning en route to our next destination the Masai Mara arriving on time for lunch. We will then enjoy an afternoon game drive tracking elephants, leopards, cheetah, lions, and buffaloes until late in the evening and come back for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, you will then proceed for a full day game drive carrying picnic lunch with you. On this day you will drive cris-crossing the studded savannah plains of the Masai Mara and head south to the banks of the Mara River and sand river on the border with Serengeti, where you can take a break from the drive and see the Hippos bathing as well as Crocodiles. Enjoy a further game drive at the park looking into whether the Mother Nature will gift us with the best sundowner. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: MASAI MARA / NAIROBI

We will have an early morning drive after breakfast or before breakfast this will discuss to what suits us. Depart back to Nairobi enroute the national reserve as our camp is inside the Mara National Reserve, arrive in Nairobi late in the evening as we maximize on our last day game drives in the National reserve. If time allows, we can visit the giraffe Centre as an extra activity
