The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery also referred as Elephant Orphanage which borders Nairobi National Park offers safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued from parks and reserves in Kenya. The nursery cares for the young elephants, including hand rearing them until they are old enough to be gradually introduced back to the wild.
